    I was out this morning taking Osprey pictures when this guy swam by. I had never seen one before. Interesting with the red eyes and all.

    It's amazing how they transform during breeding season from the dull little birds that they are down south. Awesome detail.

    Thanks. I couldn't find a female around but the lake he was on is pretty big so there's plenty of places to hide.
