Early color from my kayak

I brought two cameras with me on my kayak. One had a long lens for birds while the otherr a wider zoom to get images of leaves changing colors. I was a little early for good color but the relections looked good with the lake water calmer than usual.

Thanks. I had the small lake all to myself that morning. Very peaceful.

This small lake was formed in a valley almost surrounded by these hills.

My jkayak was against a rock so it was easier to stay still.

It also allows a clean foreground. Most of my on shore images of "distant" hills have a lot of junk in the foreground - if not junk at least things that distract from the bg.
