I ventured out at 4:00 am to try shooting the Chicago skyline at sunrise. I wish that I had a remote shutter release, but this will have to do for now. Here's a couple of images......

Sears Tower and the Lake Shore Drive skyline

My first attempt at early morning cityscapes...Enjoy!
  2. A remote or cable release isn't really needed for the slower shutter speeds. The timer is just as good. Excellent sunrise image.
  3. Frank:

    very good images. Nice sunrise.

Justin and Gil, thanks very much for the info and kudos. I wished that I would have thought about the timer....duh!!! I can't wait to get out again and use the timer.
  5. Second one is postcard material. Well done Frank.
