Discussion in 'Landscapes, Architecture, and Cityscapes' started by Bohdan, Jul 28, 2007.

  1. It's saturday...and for some reason I can't sleep in on saturdays. My wife says to me " It's 5 o'clock where are you going?" "Can't sleep" - says I - "Going to see if I can catch a sunrise"
"Give me 5 minutes, I'll come with you " - says my bride....So off we went. and boy am I tired now!

Went to one of my favourite haunts - Thunder Bay Marina:

Lets here it for the Giant!! Shhh....he's sleeping!!

Marvelous shots Bob. I'm glad that you are such an early riser so I get to see these beautiful sunrises.
  3. Thanks very much Torben...from what I remember about your neck of the woods there are some beautiful vistas in Scandavia. Norway and Sweden is where I visited. Hope to one day visit your beautiful country.

Love the first one. The reflection of the clouds in the water is a bit rare.
  5. Nice images. I really like the colors and reflection in the first image. Thanks for sharing.
  6. Thanks a lot Tom and Dave. Glad you liked them.

Nice shots. And there is no way my wife would have gotten out of bed, she would have just rolled over and told me to have fun.
  8. Thanks Todd....I think my wife has resigned herself to the "might has well join him " philosophy. She's developed a symbiotic tolerance to my querks.
