Ecuador and a Lift off

Discussion in 'Birds' started by raymond j barlow, Jul 17, 2008.

  1. Last weekend I was able to catch a cool lift off series of the Young Peregrine Falcon... The background is the Niagara Gorge, and the mist and fog was nicely illuminated with the sun behind the bird.

  4. Very impressive shots, to say the least! I just found that at
Sonny Bono Wildlife Refuge( about 2 hrs' drive from home),they have
Peregrine Falcons. I'm just too lazy to go over there but Sonny Bono
Wildlife Refuge is one of the best birding sites in the US. They have
over 350 species of migrating/year-around birds. I should go over there
    once the weather cools off.

  5. thanks very much to all of you!

thanks Hide., I would like to see this place too some day, I am sure I could take a year off to spend time in Cali, and not see it all, but it would be fun trying.

    take care bud.
