Our Ride

I came down with a nasty head cold and was worried about tagging along if I got ill (who goes to France and loses 4 lb). Here is our ride. I immediately drove on a narrow mountain road to Saint Cezaire. We were lucky as we met only one car on the way down (a Cooper) and he knocked off my mirror.

Armelle also took us to some 500 year old Oaks near the Roman Bridge. There are wonderful trees. You can see this is stuff movie monsters are made of. The trees are lucky they are not tall and straight or they would have been used for lumber long ago.

Did you crop the lavender series or did it really let you come that close?

Yes was a backlit leaf from the big tree near the stairs to the pool.

The "macros" are probably 50% crops at 280mm (200mm + 1.4xTC), good enough for now :redface:
