Emeralds

  1. Racket tailed emeralds. Two different pair mating and a lone one.

    I have had no luck finding the more rare striped emerald except for one brush tipped, but the photos of it weren't good. I saw a Hines emerald, flew right by me, but could not get focused on it.

    Great shots. Excellent mating images. Our Emeralds are gone now.

    Great series. I've never been able to catch dragonflies mating, so I find the shots very impressive.
