EN-EL3 recall

  5. yep, I just got mine exchanged and they sent me an EN-EL3e! What a great deal, now I have an extra for when I get the D200.

    I have heard they are exchanging them with the new batteries. Sadly both of mine are out of the range of the recall.

    I sent mine in. I loved the option to have a brand new battery shipped with my return materials, so I wouldn't be without a battery!

    Of course, I was a little scared to use the melting battery all last week ;)

    I got mine on Monday, it's the 'e' variant (grey) which is a good thing because I have a D200 on order! I've heard that US is getting mostly e's while elsewhere it varies. I would act sooner rather than later, though...
