I got one of these a few weeks ago. It's claim to fame is very low printing costs due to using large ink tanks rather than little cartridges. For typical everyday printing in Standard print quality, it's not as sharp, or fast as a laser printer. As far as photos are concerned, the droplet size is small and it has profiles for Epson photo papers. I made some test prints using Epson 4" x 6" Premium Glossy Photo Paper. I printed out a (set to high quality) Printer Evaluation Image file I down loaded and the was actually very good even compared to my Canon Pro-100. The two photo printing drawbacks are slow speed and only having Epson paper profiles.
