  1. Hey,

Here are some shots I took of our daughter's college soccer team, Grand Valley State, during our trip the last two weeks to northern Germany and Denmark.

1- The sculpture at Farum Park, 30min north of Copenhagen.

2- a little clutching and grabbing after scoring an early goal.

3- Meaghan moves the ball to the forwards

4- Kayla handles a ball across the mid

    5- Our daughter in silhouette

6- Our daughter moves the ball across the field

7- Our tour of the Hamburg HSV stadium, where games for the World Cup were played in 06.

8- The two teams pose for a nice shot together afterward the game in Norderstedt.

9- Chelsea dives to make a close save.

10- This header goes back into the offensive zone.

11- Charging up the middle with the ball.

12- Our goalie coach took one for the team, when she wasn't expecting it of course, right in the stomach! Yes, the girls are laughing!

    13- Tough D

14- BTW, did you know it rains.. A LOT, in Denmark?

15- sometimes it rains all game.

16- The Fortuna Hjorring club has been around since 1887 and has collected a lot of trophies, mostly by the men, now quite a few by the womens team too.

    Thanks, Tak, Danke, for looking!

Very well done Steve, also glad to know you are back home safe and sound.
  8. Thanks gang,

One of the most impressive parts of the visit, besides the big difference in the countries, the different languages, and the cooler weather, was our trip to the former SS concentration camp at Neuengamme. Very sobering, and something everyone should see or experience so this kind of thing never happens again.

Nope, we were on a tour of the harbor and saw the statue from behind. That's not the view intended for pictures, especially when dozens of people are shooting it from the shore!
  9. A great series as usual but wow what an experience for your daughter and you that is just so cool
