Even the Osprey have had to adapt to this lousy weather!

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Gerald Plowman, Apr 30, 2007.

  1. This pair have had to add some plastic to their nest to keep their eggs dry!

The male delivers nothing but the tail of a fish to the female (what a guy)

The female then delivers a stick on top of the male's head!
    Will men ever learn?]

Funny shots. Unlike fish tails, revenge is a dish best served cold.

Well pooh! I can only see the first one! It's good, but I want to see the funny ones!
  5. Jerry. We have seen this time and time again. The male brings the fish to the nest with the missing head. I guess that is why males are so smart. They eat the brains.
  6. Sounds like a "Soprano" quotation.. . I like it.
  7. reloaded #2 and3 . . hope they show up.
  8. "Smart?" Let's review the life cycle here. . . .the female sits on the eggs in a comfortable nest and the male continually feeds the entire family risking his life, dodging eagles, crows, a even a seagull now and then . . . :)
  9. Cool a nice set.
