(Little somewhat on-topic story: friend of mine took his cat Junior to the vet with the sniffles. Vet said Junior had a cold or sinus infection, gave Junior pills to take. Junior still had the sniffles and a hacking cough when pills were gone. Friend thought Junior was going to die. Junior suddenly sneezes and friend notices a thing hanging out his nose. Friend gets tweezers, pulls 2"-long blade of grass out of Junior's nostril which then drains about a cup of fluid right behind it. Junior was then good-to-go.)

My sister does that with birds and I realize how much foresight and patience it takes.
