I'd like to dedicate this post to "Peano".
A Photoshop God who helped me out recently.
    Thanks again Sir

    Paris, Las Vegas.

    Thank you.
He taught how to fix some pictures, where the sky had green and magenta stripes in them.
I'm still learning how to do it, some of my Las Vegas shots were a nightmare to try and fix.
A dusty evening sky with fountains reaching into the sky.

The shot above had them, I haven't fixed in completely, just faded it away.
To fix it complete would mean the sky would be even more saturated.
The main man Peano could do it, but not me.

  4. Hey, I could do it (fix skies)

    Sweet shot though!

    Thank you.
Could you share some techniques please, for color replacement etc ?
I've had mixed results with the color replacement tool.
This part of the original image, with the Magenta and Green stripes.

And this is the best I could do with it.
The problem I've found is, if I sample a color from the original photo, it looks [email protected]
If I pick a more pleasing color it looks over the top and if I back it down, the stripes show through.

  6. You can use Viveza to selectively correct the color.......or in CS3, use the Adjust the Saturation, and lowe the channels for Magenta, Green & Cyan

I try again, but I've tried those before and I just get massive adjustments, not tiny ones.

Photography, what else is there to do in Vegas ?
Besides shooting exteriors and interiors, I did go to the "Great West Truck Show", when it was in town.

Very nice shot, and, I like the processing, too.

    Thank you.
To finish the processing off, I use my own special secret color concoction in NX2
I could tell you what it is, but I'd have to kill yer

  11. Shrink the size of the Control Point so that it only adjusts the small area you are looking to fix.

The Control Point uses a diameter that's adjustable.
