First post for me. Trying for a bit of minimalism in terms of style.

Great to see you again, John! Hopefully you'll regularly hang out here.

This works really well. Nice lines and use of bright tones to frame the dark area of the scene.

I'm guessing that the entire scene is a work of art. Am I correct?

Hi Mike, happy New Year. No this is one of the galleries in the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto. Just thought that I would try it with a high key treatment.

Thanks all for the comments. Glad you like the processing. It was the geometry that attracted me, in particular that seat/box in the FG (couldn't make up my mind as to whether it was a seat or an exhibit).

That's exactly why I assumed the entire scene was a work of art. I don't remember the name of the genre, but I'm thinking of the kind of non-traditional art where the entire exhibition space is as much a part of the art as the items being displayed. In this image, the "seat" appears to me to be a cooler used for temporarily storing perishable food.
