Extrememly Rare Lamborghini

Discussion in 'Transportation' started by Lateral-G Photography, Sep 8, 2008.

  1. I was out shooting the cars at a local weekly car meet in the Los Angeles area known as Supercar Sunday when I saw a car that completely distracted me from everything else in the parking lot. It was a 1966 Lamborghini 400 GT SuperLeggera. You could tell this car was special just by looking at it. It had obviously just had its restoration finished and was looking better that it probably ever did coming out off the Lambo factory. So I headed over and started shooting, taking in all of the exquisite angles of the car's body. When the owner saw me taking pictures, he immediately offered to open the doors and the hood so that I could get all of the pictures I wanted. Well, doing a little research today I found out that Lamborghini only made 3 of these Aluminum-bodied beauties! So enjoy these pics of one very rare car.

Man you got lucky with this one, but you do have location on your side, exotic cars are a lot less exotic in California. Did you hear the engine?
  3. Yeah, it was one of the nicest sounding v12's I have ever heard. Absolute classic Italian sound.

  8. Great looking car ......... timing was right for you. Where exactly is this weekly car show?

  9. The car meet is at the Village Coffee Roaster in Woodland Hills. Right off the 101 at the Mulholland/Valley Circle Exit on the South side of the freeway. It is every sunday starting around 7am with the last Sunday of the month usually bringing in close to or over 1000 cars. go to www.villagecoffeeroaster.com for the address.
  10. Thanks for the info ..... I'll have to check it out. I'm in Culver City .... maybe an hour away.

    Good stuff!
You should offer to shoot the car in a more picturesque setting. It would be a great addition to your portfolio, and maybe even make a few $$.
    Just a thought.

  14. Nice shots of such a rare exotic ... hope you get the chance to get more shots in a more photo friendly location. Thanks for sharing.

  15. Very beautiful car, definitely one of my favorite Lambos due to its classy lines and low key presence.
