  1. From a visit to a private sanctuary for a few big kitties. This gal was playing sneaky.

    Very nice image John. I love the detail in the eye. Looks just like my house cat, except maybe a tad bigger. 8)

    What are the shooting particulars?
     
  10. Thanks, all. Flew, this was from about 15 yards through a large mesh fence. The 200-400 was set at 210mm. Shot at 1/250, f6.7, ISO 800 early on a cloudy morning with flash from an SB-800 mounted on camera set for balanced fill minus 2/3 stop.

    Super shot, John. :) :) :) I can't imagine this kitty was in this perfect position for more than an instant - great capture! And unique - I like animal shots that don't have that posed look.
