Face ORB thingy "how to"

Ok heres a rough idea how I done the face orb thingy.

#1 is the items I used, a white dish from a cheapey shop, PVC pipe and fittings from Bunnings, a flash unit.

#2 I cut out the PVC fitting to hold the flash unit then black taped it together.

#3 I got a piece of exhaust pipe heated it up and cut a hole in the white dish.

#4 & #5 I cut the sleeve fitting into 2 selves and glued the pipe onto the dish.

#6 added a diffuser.

#7 & #8 painted it all black then glued the round Perspex to the dish and added faces etc.

#9 completed

To get the Orb affect I get my assistant to hit the shutter on bulb and start the flash which is set on repeat to shoot approx 60 shots while I wave the thingy in a circular motion.

There you have it, easy peasy.
