Can't help on the ID but that certainly is an interesting capture!
Do you have any other captures?
Without knowing the origin of the bird it's hard to find an i.d. It looks as if it was in captivity - wasn't there a label on the cage?
It's not a falcon. The closest I can get, assuming it's of southern European origin is Short-toed Eagle.
