Critique Fall Foliage in Vermont -- 9 photos

These are my favorite photos of our fall foliage trip to Vermont. I had never seen foliage anywhere near like this. For some photos, I had to desaturate a bit to keep the colors realistic. My childhood friend who has lived in Vermont 33 years says this year provided color as good as any year and that it lasted longer than he can remember.

The second photo was captured by my wife and post-processed by me.

These are all stunning. Sure, the color wows us, but they are all so well composed. In #1 the scale is so apparent with the horses in the foreground, 2,3 and 4 the roads are a huge part of the scene. Love Blind Drive.

Blind Drive

Thanks especially for mentioning that, as that sign adds a special touch for me for two reasons. We saw signs indicating blind drives everywhere we went and without that sign, that would be the only area of the photo without prominent gold tones. Also, I've always wanted to make a photo with the hills being apparent because of the center lines in the highway and this is the first time I've gotten one.
