Fall on the Shore

    Not a typical fall color shot, but it does show fall as a transition period from summer to winter on the shore of Lake Michigan.

    The soft colors of the background are lovely. Definitely has a "cold" feel to it!

    That is a very nice image, Mike. The flat water helps to depict "tranquility".

    Very pleasing compsition and the exposure is great! Love the mood, I can still feel a warm breeze accross the water tho.

    Thanks to all for your nice comments.

    I took the shot at the end of August. Because of early moring light, the overcast sky, and slight fog, the image looked "cooler" than the actual temperature.
