Fall Rains

Rather than do the 52 week challenge this year I have decided to pay attention to nearly 10 years of photos taken on our fall and spring trips, culling out the best and finding appropriate forums for them. This was taken in 2013.

I always appreciate honest critique since that is how I grow as a photographer.

I love this! What really makes it interesting is not just the raindrops but that orange in the background suggestive of another plant or branch -- the eye looks at everything, looks at the orange area, then returns to those fascinating raindrops and the red stems. Beautiful!

Hi Judith. Have you considered cropping the image from the bottom and from the top to put the emphasis more on the stems and the rain drops? You would also get rid of the purple stain at the top this way. Lovely red stems and raindrops.

Love the simplicity and the raindrops. I second the crop suggestion. Maybe try a 4x5 format.
