Spent a great day at the National Gallery of Art. No flash allowed. I was armed with my D200 and the 50mm, f1.4.

My wife's favorite.

Evan loves art (like most 10 year old boys)!

My favorite of the day was this lovely statue waiting and watching the doorway to her room in the gallery.

I agree, the one of Evan is cute.

Did Stephanie take the one of you all standing at the fountain? If so, she has a great eye. I'm thinking she needs a D200 of her own!

Nice series Mitch. The one of your son is too funny.

The picture of Evan does take the cake here. I can only imagine what was going through his head right then!

Thanks for looking.

Evan is not much for art museums. He was much happier in front of the Air & Space Museum.

I dragged (drug?? sounds illegal? maybe that's what they felt like!) my kids thru countless art and other museums, I am amazed now that they are young adults (20/24) at how much they did absorb and admire!

Great pictures--I'm jealous.
