Tonight I had the honour of talking with (through an interpreter) Masayoshi Sukita who was in town to launch his book "Speed of Life" and an exhibition of 12 prints from the book. The book (limited edition, hand bound leather) sells for $1000 and the prints which are editions of 20 signed by Masayoshi and David Bowie sell for $4000 each.
Here Masayoshi poses for me!!

Not the best shot but was in a crowded and small gallery - one of the prints which you may recognise as the shot from the cover of "Heroes".

"Heroes" - great album, and the track Heroes one of my all-time favourites. esp. up loud with the headphones on. Weird cover photo though!

Yes Tom it was a very cool evening. Sukita-san is a lovely person.
This, I would have liked to see. Good one.
Cheers
Simon
Thanks Simon, a small show but still broad in the years it covers. The book is amazing!!
