My photography efforts in 2018 consisted of 2 trips to Costa Rica and a trip to Iceland. Although I had several images from Iceland that I really liked, Costa Rica dominated!

  2. I remember seeing some of these yet others seem new to me. Regardless, it's such a pleasure to view each and every one of them. Hopefully 2019 will be just as successful for you!

These are outstanding example, Karen. You did really well in 2018 and I look forward to your 2019 images!

  4. These are stunning pieces of work Karen, of which you should be very proud. You've set the bar quite high for the rest of us.

  5. I remember most of these and am grateful for having another chance to enjoy them again. Your fastidious and experienced preparation sure comes through in all of these. (y)(y)(y)

  6. Holy cow! It's great to see these all in a series. You had a fantastic 2018.

My personal favorite is #4. It's really perfect in every way. Nice!

  7. Karen - Thanks so much for posting those images. It was a treat to see them. Here is hoping you have a healthy and successful 2019 although it is hard to figure out how you will exceed, or even equal, your outstanding 2018 results.

So appreciate the encouragement! I get to shoot a few only times a year. YOU, on the other hand, create high quality images continually.
Thanks, Lyndee! I admire your photographic comment in 2019!
Who knows what 2019 will bring! We will be off to Eastern Canada on an 8,000 miles driving trip!
    Thanks, Nick.
Interesting. While #4 seems to be a simple image, to me it shows the bird well...and it's environment.
Thank you, John! I only pick up a camera when we are traveling. I hope to share scenes and species on our glorious planet.
    I appreciate your comments!

  10. A fantastic collection of images from the year. May 2019 be just as successful!

Thanks, Glenn! Hopefully we can do another trip together some time!
    Thanks, Wade.
    Thanks a lot, Bob!
I like that one, too! The simplicity of that image appeals to me. The background is the mountains in the far distance.
