Critique Feeding egret

Another from the same area. Egret flew in, splashed and fed for 2 minutes and flew away. For the most part she was too far in the shadows, looking away from me. Then for one splash she gave me a decent look. That is sometimes all it takes.
Thanks for looking at these. I am finely getting to workup some images from earlier this year. Will be building these into a project or portfolio of some type. I like to use you all as an educated audience- to see what you like and don't like.
The black background is getting a little limiting, but I like it- and know how to shoot it- so here goes.

I like this a LOT! Maybe a bit tighter crop.....but the essence of this image is superb!

I like the idea of a tighter crop. I tend to like large black areas in my prints- but will look at bringing this in tighter. I have plenty of data, the d850 is king- at least this week.
