Feeding time at the Nest

I was at the nest early on this morning and it seemed to pay off, I believe I got to see the two chicks take their first flight and got some interesting shots of the first feeding of the day. I've got another series of their first flights for posting later.

Wow! Outstanding behavior shots and the clarity and backgrounds are fantastic! The images just seem so "clean" for lack of a better description!

Nice set. I've seen a few fledge, it's always fun to watch their first flight as they look so surprized at first. The first landing isn't always smooth, but they get better. A few minutes in the air really seems to tire them out at first, you can see the chest heaving in and out for 10+ minutes after they land.

great set Louie, so many sharp eyes, perfect exposures, you nailed these, I can see the diff in lenses, the 600 is clearly king but the little guy does a good job
