Apologies for the late start. My theme for the project will be “Oceans”. My first photo was taken on the Great Ocean Road. The Great Ocean Road follows Victorias South West coast for approximately 243 kilometres (151 miles). It was built between 1919 and 1932 by returned soldiers from World War I as a means to connect coastal towns and as a memorial to the soldiers that lost their lives in the war. The photo is of a place called the 12 apostles (although there were only ever 9). Erosion by the ocean means that in time the limestone will disappear.
I hope you enjoy
