    I've been on the lookout for some Hoodies to shoot in our area. I have heard that there are some nearby and hope to snap a few. Your female is beautiful, I hope that I do as well as you. Thanks Gary.

    Yes this was on the south side a very nice Male Woodie flew in but bad light also a Kestral, immature Eagle and Redheaded Woodpecker. I never made it to the river. Only had about 45 minutes

    Love that second shot of the merganser snoozing. How the heck did you get so close to the red-headed? Reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when I saw not one but two yellow-bellied sapsuckers drilling holes in a tree in the middle of a parking lot about a foot off the ground!
