Here are a few shots from this morning at Infineon Raceway. It was the ferrari challange. They did demo laps with the Fxx and Formula 1 cars. I hope you like them.

Oh! I am using my monitor at work but usually it shows reds as red. I will look on my calibrated monitor at home.

I like that last shot. They look brown here, too. Very strange look for a Ferrari...

Color looks off on mine as well ... I am sure the F-1's are BRIGHT red!!

Great shots. I'd love to see/hear a real F-1 car in action. Understand the sound is really unique.

Cheers!!

Yep, brown here too, and I know they should be RED! Great pics though! Especially that first one, and the last one makes me want to hop in and head for Big Sur.

Brown here as well. I really dig the last shot, with the Ferrari logo in the background and everything.

Well ,I think I may need to calibrate my screen.
The last one is a maroon color though.

It was an awesome day there was next to no one at the races. I was able to get down to the press cutouts in the fence (a dream for me because I'm a huge f1 fan)

OK now this is weird ... I right clicked and saved one of these (the F-1) and when I opened it with Windows Gallery and Capture NX the color was pretty good ... RED!! I didn't do anything to PP it ... just looked at it.

Why would these look brownish in IE7?

Cheers!!

hi ryan-

thanks for sharing the photos. i wasn't aware of the vent, and would've loved to hear some F1 engines at full scream.

regarding the colors, you saved the photos using the ProPhoto RGB colorspace. if you convert to sRGB, the images should display the correct color in most browsers:

That's better, now they are red, and maroon in the last one! ProPhoto RGB is great as a wide gamut for editing but sure does screw up the viewing bit

I just checked it on ie7 and the color dose look brown. I'm a mac guy so it looked fine in safari.

What is the best color space to use for the web?

Cool shots of Michael's old ride! That must have been a great time.
I'd love to get a good look at an F1 car. Lucky dog!
