Festival Night shots

    Hi All
    Would like to share few night shots
    This was taken last Sunday night,Ayyapa puja procession,Its small festival in neighbouhood. Young girls&ladies were carrying coconut oil lamps.
    Lightsource was oil lamp only.Wanted to try with out flash.
    I liked this shots as its.
    Let me have your suggestion for improvements in PP.
    PP I did only little crop &USM.

  2. These are just stunning Rathika. I love these soulful faces. Your handheld technique must be amazing to get shots as sharp as this at these speeds. No suggestions for improvements, I think they're perfect.

  5. I can only see one of the images (girl with candle) but it is outstanding. Nicely taken image.

    Ah ha the images have appeared, glad I came back for another look. They are all very nice with my favorite being #2.

    Special moments

    I'm very much taken with these...especially the 2nd, and with the twins.
    You must have been excited and anxious to see the results after taking them!

    I love the third, in fact no I love them all! If I could be so cheeky as to make a suggestion though? In the third photo I would lose the two boys and just keep the girl like so:

    She has a charming innocent quality about her and the sweetest of faces!
    Hope you don't mind me modifying your picture.

    You've really captured the moods of the children here. This comes through especially in the 2nd one. I like what Chaz did with the 3rd, but I also like the original. The 2 boys had a fun element to the photo.
