  3. nice shots frank, i couldn't brave the city on a wet ol' day. spent most of the day at shea watching the mets lose it all, at home... again...

for artisitc purposes i like the first shot, for comedy value the 3rd shot is great.

yeah Shing it was a tough day to shoot, no shadows, drizzle etc...o well
I was hoping for more fog at the bridge

I met a fellow Englishman of yours on the bridge, from Coventry, who was a little dissappointed in the weather as well

    but he was shooting Canon..

Frank. Something you wanna tell us about you and the mannequins?  I love the treatment on the first one! The 2nd one rocks......that is a pretty awesome perspective - I could spend days up there I bet. I like shooting on cloudy days, gives a nice diffused light.

    Francis, thanks
I just love all the store windows with the mannequins
could shoot em all day, and they never talk back

I like cloudy days too, but it soon turned to drizzle and then flat out rain
was hoping for more fog at the bridge, as I said

I also am more fond of sunny days in the city..I love playing with shadows and high contrast in the city

  16. I laughed out loud at the "witch balls" shot - I took a nearly identical photo in Manhattan a month ago. Just near Radio City right?

Another great series capturing the spirit of our great city. Especially #1 is a fantastic shot. (I should really start going out when it rains.)
