I have taken this photo many times at the airshows but one plane has always been blurry. Originally thought OOF but they are too far for that so it must have been the speed of the opposing plane. I shot 1/6400 sec with the 300 2.8 and finally got it.

Unfortunately the sky is always lousy. I need to find an airshow somewhere that has a nice blue sky.

    Nice, super shot
Fix the blue sky in PP

  3. Wow, that has to be tough. I have seen that shot a few times but not with both planes as sharp as that.

I'm with Gale...that one is worth cheating sky back to blue.

Thanks everyone, I will do the PP. Ricky, I tracked the planes on continuous high and only caught two out of about eight times they did it. When I used film, I would keep both eyes open and catch the planes with a single shot at the intersection. I guess newer and faster is not always better.

    Thanks GoGo,
I tried replacing the sky but could not get the edges right so I just adjusted the sky a little with curves. Does this look better?
