Not many good shots, but hell every dog has his day right :)

I think you did very well, no nits as far as I am concerned. Nice action and tight crops, that is a sweet combination. Looking forward to seeing more.

matt.... im jelous dude.... football doesn't start up here for at least a week ... GRRR .... but honestly it's good to see that people other than me have to deal with harsh light from time to time...... Personally i think this season is only going to get better from here on out for you

yeah the light was bad, and I helmets! lol They leave such a harsh shadow around the face, at least with a baseball cap some light gets in there, but it seems with a helmet zero gets in.

Yeah I am really nervous for tomorrow to be honest. I begin shooting for maxpreps and of course it is night time football using a flash! lol

    Hope I do well

You guys really need to stop calling it football - that's reserved by soccer internatioanlly you know.

Nice shots, #1's a bit busy for me, but rest look REAL good

Toph are you shooting canon only now or both?

Hey contact me when you post galleries please over at the canon forum so I can see your work.

I don't check there that much now.

Mostly just the mk3 and I actually really love it ... i've used the d3 and it's alright ... apples to oranges ......

As far as the forum goes over at canon i mostly just troll there for tid-bits of info that i may not be able to get here ..... This is a great place matt and i really think your going to like it here

I'd love to have shots like your "rusty" ones. If you call this rusty, I can't wait to see what you post once you're back in the groove.

Seriously, this stuff is really good IMHO. It doesn't take a great sports shooter to recognize good sports photos.

  15. Nice captures. Cute players too.
