finally shooting birds

Have not had a chance to shoot any birds over the last 3-4 weeks finally got a few hours to shoot today and made it to the wetlands in Viera. Must be rusty as I only had a few keepers. These are a few of the OK ones. cc's welcome.

Very nice series. I love No. 1 the most for some reason I can't figure out. The background should be distracting with all those stalks, but it seems that the blur/bokeh of the green and yellow provides a perfect backdrop with some interesting pattern to contrast with the greyish subject. Very nice.
