Finally some colourful birds came to my feeder

Discussion in 'Birds' started by Bohdan, May 8, 2007.

  1. I've been waiting for some variety at my birdfeeder. Most of the year all I've been getting are chickadees, sparrows etc. Which I like very much but wanted some birds with a little more colour. finally last night I had these visitors.

Nice set Bob. The first and last one are a male Purple Finch.
  15. They sure did! Beautiful birds! You might want to set up a dead limb next to the feeder so the birds can perch there. You could get super shots that way.

  16. Thanks very much
Thanks Jose. I had the same thought about the perch near the feeder.
