Going through old images, liked this one leaning against my easel.
This was from yellowstone Jan 2016, damage from a fire the summer before.
No one else was around for miles, it was quite serene.
It was also colder than C%#*.

Lots of interesting vertical and horizontal patterns here. And yet the image still conveys simplicity and quiet.

Like it a lot. Besides the lines I like the misty feelong and the wavy ground in contrast to the vertical lines.

Thanks all, I enjoy looking at this type of image. Lots of little details and depth.
These often look like a random snap- believe it or not I took 50+ images along this stretch trying to find a composition.
I actually recropped it a little for my print, just realized I put an uncropped version up. I just cropped a little to clean up the right side of the image. Looked better for me.
