We live in a small development in a very rural part of northeastern Tennessee. But every year our neighbor puts on a Fourth of July celebration. He had THREE flat bed trailers filled with fireworks, all controlled remotely! Usually the fireworks are preceded by a potluck dinner. This year, due to COVID risks, they also provided all the beverages and food!

Anyway, back to the fireworks. Hope you enjoy them!

The entire set is gorgeous. Perfect exposures! I'm sure your neighbor that provides the fireworks really enjoys your photos.

In the last one, consider removing the two mini-explosions at the far right, as they pull my eye out of the frame.
Thanks, Mike! Great suggestion to remove that partial burst! I'll update the photo on my website!
Lucky you! Beautifully photographed.
Thanks a lot, Jim!
Wow really a wonderful set. Exposure and focus seem to be spot on. Congrats
Appreciate the comments! I struggle focusing at night. For exposure I looked at images from 2018 for insight.
You did a fabulous job!! 2.5 seconds seems just right to get the perfect amount of the motion of the light.
I shot between 2" and 2.5", and on average that seemed to be about right. My biggest problem was that the firings were coming from 3 different directions! Tough to get the peak bursts while moving the camera on the tripod.
Excellent work!
Thank you so much, Alex!
Well done, visited the gallery already, but happy to see them again!
Hi, Wade! Thanks a lot!
WOW! Beautiful set Karen.
Hi, Binnur! Glad you liked them!

These look great...perfect settings for sharp and colorful shots with just the right amount of burst.

Much appreciate, Glenn.

Glad you enjoyed them!
I love fireworks shot every time I see them. These are very well done.
Thanks for sharing.
Gary
Appreciate the compliment, Gary! Hope you glanced at the full gallery. I try to get him to start the fireworks during the blue hour, but he always waits until it is almost black before starting the show! LOL!

Wow. Really well done, Karen. It doesn't get dark enough here this time of year for great fireworks displays. New years is the best fireworks here.

I really wish our neighbor would start the fireworks during the blue hour! I think the fireworks - and the images - are MUCH better with a deep blue sky rather than black. Sigh. He didn't take to my suggestion of starting 15 minutes earlier! LOL! Processing allowed me to still get a dark blue sky on a few early shots.
