First attempt at IR, Westwood Cemetary in LA

    My first attempt at IR. Used Kodak HIE in my Minolta X-700 and XE-7. Scanned direct from the negatives. Not sure how much more film IR I'll do since I've got my shiny new D700 but I like the results. Still might stick with digital IR from now on just to save on the hassle.

    Yeah, a bit lazy on my part. I'll update the first post with some images.
     
  4. Not bad for a attempt but I prefer the digital IR> BTW I have shot the LA national cemetary as well...

    I'm the exact opposite of Eric. I much prefer the look of HIE, and unfortunately it's become extremely rare! Your first and second photos are exemplary! Especially #2 - that bathed with light look is just not attainable by any other means.
