First attempt at wildlife..

I want ahead and got the "Bigma". I am not sorry so far. This kind of shooting is fun. Comments welcome. Again, my first attempt, so be nice (oops, I forgot, this is not DPR).

Pat,

These are very good shots. As Dawg mentioned earlier, I had a Bigma, and I really liked it. I just had to sell it to get $$ for the 300 2.8. It's a pretty good lens overall, and a very good lens for the $$.

Now you're hooked, I can tell.... :lol:

WOW what a reach.

Good job. Those black birds are really tough to shoot as I have found out so far.

Got a bit of a halo.

That is the original lens I was going to get when I bought the D100 and chickened out. DAMN....grrrrrr

Now I prob will never get it.

I know I will get the TC 20 and shoot manual with the 8o-400 VR VR VR VR lololol

Very impressive shots for your first attempt.

Photography is like golf..one good shot and you can hardly wait to go back the next day.

I'd give anything to come across an otter. One day one ran across my yard and all I could do was wave at him :)

Keep them coming and know you're having fun with that lens.
