I accompanied Frank (Eng45ine) this morning for my first attempt at birding, a pelican shoot at Nelson Lake in Batavia, IL. I did not do too well but just wanted to post one of the images I thought came out OK. We also shot some owls but I will post some images later after I get a chance to process some of them. The temps were Brrrrrr cold with winds gusting to 30 mph which made it somewhat uncomfortable. I told Frank that the next time we go out for a shoot we should order some decent weather ::biggrin:

Not bad at all, Shakhar. Tough lighting and white birds = difficulty. Hopefully, we'll be back there before they migrate to their next home.

Again, not a very good shot but a decent image for the record.
