Critique First chance to shoot this year

So this year has been crazy so far. I haven't had a chance to get out and shoot since December and I finally managed to break free from work (who knew working from home could keep you this busy) and took a couple of shots in the back yard.

I'm curious what you think about the last two? Color, or B&W?

The first is really a nice image, deserves to be printed.
I am a black and white guy, but in my opinion- which means very very little in the evaluation of someone else's art, I prefer the color version here.
I think color helps me understand what I am looking at.
