    I am only about 20% through a first pass.....and no processing of images yet....EXCEPT for this one! LOL! I just couldn't resist!

    1/4000, f5, -.67 exposure comp, ISO 5,600 using D5 and 500mm/f4

  2. Wow, you're starting off with a bang, superb shot Karen. Colors and background are super with great color and detail in the plant and hummingbird. Look forward to seeing more.

  5. holy mole, a popping photo and tells the story, well done. it would be nice for under neck to a tad brighter, but still done well.

  12. Unquestionably the most unique image of a bird I've ever seen. Gotta love that the bird's posture complements the shape of the plant so nicely. Lots of other great things about the image too!
