I went to a local trapshoot yesterday, and got to use my 80-200 AF-D for the first time. I used to switch between my 35-70mm and 180mm for these shots, but found I was always missing the shot I wanted in between lens changes. I wouldn't trade my 35-70mm f2.8 or the 180mm f2.8 for anything. But for these types of photos the 80-200mm is much more versatile. I guess I could use two camera bodies with the two lenses instead. Hey, there's a thought.Ha!!!

  2. It's a great lens. You're going to love it.

Love a good trapshoot too...from the back line, no less.
  3. As David said, your going to love this lens, its so versatile.... It's probably my favorite lens out of all of mine.
