First Iris to bloom in our Garden

  1. Today the first ever Iris blossom decided to unfold in our Garden. What a pretty sight.

That's such a nice reward, after "working" the whole Saturday in the Garden and catching a bad Sunburn on my neck......I guess I'm a real redneck now? :Crunk:

    Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated!

If I remember right, I went to school with an Iris McGee that was pretty homely!
  6. That is one beautiful flower & image, Michael.

My Iris are coming out as well. They are my favorite flowers. This photo is stunning. What lens and settings did you use?

I have to agree with everyone.. very nice... my purple ones are close.. but the yellow just opened today..will post some soon.. again great job..
  9. What a splendour!

Our first Iris's bloomed more than a month ago, but it was a dwarfish species. The big ones (white) do not even show flower buds yet.
