First Jumper captured.....

  1. I'm so happy today, managed to capture my first jump spider!

This little bugger is so small, I needed the 60 micro + all 58mm Kenko tubes (it's only approx 2mm long!).

It must have been a funny sight:
Me running around a table, trying to get spidy in focus. And as soon as I had him focused the little f**** started sprinting towards the lens...................................and me, because of the magnification, missing several heartbeats and jumping back .

And the the same game again and again....... But eventually I managed some sharp pics. :Crunk:

    Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated!

  2. Cool shot. 2mm? That would explain why I don't know what to look for if I would have to search one...

Fantastic shot! You are a brave man shooting spidey with 60mm . I have trouble shooting bugs with my Sigma 70mm, the working distance is far too short for comfort..I really don't want insects or bugs coming towords me
