Well, finding nothing in my arsenal that was good enough for a proper ring shot when I shoot a wedding, I wavered back and forth for about 2 weeks on whether or not I wanted a 60mm f/2.8 AF-D or G. After some thought and discussion on the Cafe' here, I ended up with a clean copy of the AF-D from another member (thank you!) and have already fallen in love with this lens.

So, on my way to work this morning, I was late... but we had a crew of snails creeping across our walkway to our front door, so I had to stop and toss the 60mm on my D700 real quick.

If I'm not mistaken - D700, 60mm f/2.8 AF-D, f/6.3, ISO 400, 1/100th.

Every time I buy a new lens it becomes my favorite. Do I have a problem? NAS.

Thanks Art. Macro is something I've very unfamiliar with as most of my stuff involves people flying through the air on a mountain bike, people getting married, or a lowered import car cruising down the highway at sunset.

So far so good. I'm having a TON of fun.
