First out with the 28-70mm f/2.8

The sun was out and right over head, but since I skipped out of work early today to play with this lens it didn't matter. I grabbed Bailey and we headed to the park.

Now we're talking! Good stuff, Todd. Nice bokeh for a short lens, and contrast and colors it delivers are exceptional... though I may be a little prejudiced .

I don't see how you could justify owning the 17-55 and the 28-70. That'd be a tough one to explain to your wife :shock:.

But the 28-70/2.8 would fit pretty nicely between your 12-24 and 70-200 :wink: 8).

It's a honey of a lense, Todd. And if you're ever in trouble it doubles as a tire iron to stave off your attacker.

If you do, I'm going to have to poke out my eyes with a sharp stick. It would be cheaper and less painful than what Janie would do to me if I even mention another lens before then. 8)
