I think when I get used to the lack of zoom we will become lasting friends....
great shots, darren
yeah..... not having a zoom in your hands is weird to me, as well
i'm really considering this lens as well
glad to see these excellent shots
i hope that you will post many, many more
Nice series of shots, and congrats on the 300 2.8.
Not having an zoom will become less of an issue as you see the results when using this lens. When the light gets dim, then you will see this lens really perform, especially with the D3.
I already notice the sharpness and colours out of the camera vastly different - and I will need to be very careful with any USM (these are close to over)
D3, hmmm, don;t you start, Randy's already baiting me
You guys are killing me with these 300 2.8 shots.
I used to like my 300/4. :frown:
Judging from these excellent shots; you and the 300 f/2.8 are at the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
very nice Darren, sigh, I'm stuck w/ my Siggy 120-300...
randy is bad for ALL OF US......
you MUST get a D3.... i'll bait you as well
i'll tell you what
if you order the D3.... i'll buy the 300/2.8
These look good Darren - looks like you and your new toy will do great.
Love the faces on the kids ..
Very nice Darren a wonderful lens that will be even better after you get accustomed to it
I'm sure it will be the first of many outings with the 300 2.8.
I am convinced that once you buy a 300 f2.8 lens, you never want to be without one.
i think are you exactly right
Beautiful shots Darren!!
Im glad the new prime is working out for you darren .... 300's and 400's are the way to go for sports.... cant wait to see more !
Thanks all - can't wait to use it for some big time sport coming up soon !!
superb work, even in bright conditions, you nailed em nicely, excellent and congrats.
These are very nice. You and this lens are going to do some awesome things.
