Here is my first posting of a picture using my new 70-200mm lens. I am definitely still learning how to use this lens, but I really love the subject matter. :biggrin I added another photo from today.

Hey Terry -

Yep . . . you're going to *love* that lens, although not as much as your subject matter. The two of them will make a fine combination, though.

Congrats on your new addition............it's an awesome lens. I like the photo, but it appears to me you are focused on the tree bark and not the subject. Or was that done by intent?

I believe I was using the Auto-area AF mode. I usually focus on the eyes, unless using the 51 point mode. I agree that the focus does seem a little off on her.
