I was very nervous but I think the outcome was good. It was suppose to just be the lady but I convinced the gentleman to join in as well. Here is one of many from that session.

    Beautiful couple!!

  5. Nice portrait!
Two things come to my mind.
    1. A hair light really would have helped this one. The woman's hair is underexposed and just blends into the background. Perhaps you could selectively dodge this area in photoshop to save this one.

    2. The man appears to be hunched over and looking upwards. This gives an unnatural gaze through his glasses. A taller stool for the woman would have helped him be more upright.

The couple are soon to be married.

    Mitchell,
I tried a hair light but got a nice glare from his head so I decided against it.

It would have to be a really tall stool since he is well over 6 feet tall. The idea to have him on the stool didn't work either because of bad knees and not being able to stand back up.

Nice image, Charles. I can see that you really enjoy your portraitures. I never get tired of viewing your work...especially of your daughter.
